Grob G120A
Allied Wings operates 11 Grob G120A aircraft. Aircraft features include excellent handling qualities, retractable undercarriage, largest cockpit in its class, modern cockpit instrumentation, and full IFR. These highly maneuverable, fully aerobatic, composite aircraft are used in Primary Flying Training in combination with desktop & cockpit trainers.
The complete training program includes:
Phase I – Primary Flying Training
- 3 month course
- 33 flying hours
- 60 academic hours
- 4 FTD hours
- Basic aircraft handling and candidate screening
Extended Phase I – Basic Flying
- 5 month course
- 80 flying hours
- 100 academic hours
- 20 FTD hours
- Aircraft handling, IFR, formation, VFR navigation, night flying
