Bell 412
Allied Wings operates 9 Bell 412 helicopters. Aircraft features include full 4 display, color EFIS, Universal UNS–1L FMS, Collins Radio package, air conditioning and crashworthy fuel cells. These commercially successful utility helicopters are used by many civilian and military organizations Worldwide. They are used for advanced training in combination with cockpit trainers and a full motion simulator.
Phase III Helicopter Training – Advanced
The complete training program includes:
- 61 periods of ground school
- 15 periods of Flight Training Device
- 72 hours of flight time
- IFR and VFR navigation, engine–out handling, short field handling, tactical handling
